LOVE Commandments Tee - Pepper

To love God and our neighbors as we love ourselves comes from the overflow of being filled with God's love for us FIRST! 

The words incorporated into this design are based on the following two verses, the addresses of which are on either side of the rhombus net:

"And He replied to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love our neighbor as  yourself.'" Matthew 22: 37-39

And the second is this:

"We love [ourselves, God, and others], because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19

The notion is this then: if we are to truly love God with our whole beings, and love the world of people as we love ourselves, we must first have an encounter with the love of God for us, individually. Without knowing how God feels about us, we won't be able to see ourselves rightly, love Him zealously, and serve others righteously.
